I'm sure you've seen the Lumee Case. When they first dropped I really wanted one but I couldn't justify the purchase. Reasons why: price, I have a 6 Plus(I needed protection not light. PRIORITIES!), I like to break phones, I'm poor I mean the list goes on and on guys. ON AND ONNN...
I mean its basically a portable ring light and I am just out here trying to be successful and cute. YALL I REALLY DON'T ASK FOR MUCH.
So fast forward a few months and I'm still trying to flourish and be great and what not.
While on the pursuit of greatness I came a cross this nice little gadget a clip on ring light.
What is this? Why is this?
Does it really matter?
I determined that God wants me to be great and he's working in my life(he always is).
BUT he wants me to take pictures and be great in the day and at night. WON'T HE DO IT !?!
So here it is. THE CLIP-ON RING LIGHT. Game changer??? IDK

I purchased this item off of Amazon about 2 weeks ago and I've been testing it out ever since.
DETAILS:
I paid $9.99
My version uses two(2) AAA batteries (there are some that are rechargeable with a USB I got the wrong one)
The light has one button that turns it on and off. The same button adjusts the light intensity, it has three(3) levels of brightness.
It fits my iPhone 6 Plus with a life proof case comfortably.
Pros:
- This product actually works and you can use it on your back facing camera as well.
- It can be used on things other than your phone.
Examples: I have used it on my hand held mirror when applying makeup. (perfect for dets)
It works well for my Mac computer for video/ FaceTime chatting.
I also clipped it on to my full length mirror to improve lighting in pictures.
In general its a really bright light you can use it to navigate in the dark.(LOL)
- Really affordable. Rechargeable (don't be like me buy the right one)
- Very bright.
Cons:
- Battery replacement. (at least for the one I currently have)
- After a while the light dims down before the battery dies(you might not even notice, I didn't at first)
- The first light setting for some reason the lights cause lines to appear in the image you're capturing.
- Easy to forget? The idea is better lighting for selfies and what not. Personally I've forgotten my light when going out mainly because I use it when applying my makeup and I'm always late.(:D) Also if you're easily annoyed by extra things in your bag this might not be for you.
Here's me being extra cause I got me a pretty light:-)

I attempted to do the mannequin challenge and take the exact same picture on each light setting. (close enough)

I tried the same thing here clearly it was a fail. So two pictures instead of three. (I'd apologize for my edges but I love my hair. Not sorry)
All in all I would definitely make this purchase again just get the rechargeable one, I'll eventually do that.
Alas not much has changed since I began writing this post, I am still some kind of poor BUUUT I'll keep you posted when it arrives (maybe).
I'm sure I'll keep finding new ways to use this nifty little gadget and please let me know other ways you use yours.
If you were having a lighting problem I'm glad I was able to help.
If you already knew about this... womp! Guess I'm late to the party?
Did I help anyone? Has at least one mind been blown? One life illuminated?
BUY IT?
The one I Got:- Batteries required
The one I think you should get lol:- Rechargeable
Here's some more casual slay using my clip on ring light of course!

This was fun. Till next time. Stay pretty and light up your selfies, it's sleigh season. Bless your Timeline!
xoxo
