Happy New Year !I think I’ll move back to an island!🌴

Been a minute since we kicked it. After 3 months of 2019 here we are.

Here’s to keeping up appearances 🥂

When I started this blog I lived in New York.

This meant access to basically everything!

Same day shipping, Sephora, chipotle; the things dreams are made of.

I was working, living my life being your typical miserable New Yorker. 2 job mami that lived for the weekends and scheduled vacations.

One day my scheduled vacation FINALLY arrived and everything changed.

I was elated to say the least.

Ya girl was tired from my retail and office job, uninspired, homesick, feeling rejected (another story), broke, depressed and straight up lost.

The thought of going home to my 108 sq mile island paradise was everything.

I didn’t know it then but I decided to move back to a beautiful island in the Caribbean Sea. HOME.

I was so used to blogging about my regular pick-ups and deliveries from Sephora and my other favorite spots that when I moved I didn't know what to say . I also felt like I limited myself to clothing and makeup posts but island life is very different. My weekly pickups changed from Sephora finds to food.

(🤣 this weight gain)

Anyway, I traveled home to loving arms, warm smiles and understanding minds.

My two weeks of vacation came and went in a blink.

I stayed.

I realize I hated my dead end. Underpaid job

I stayed some more.

My parents were supportive and understanding. I had been my happiest I had been in months.

So I stayed some mo...

Then some natural disasters came our way and reality set-in that even though hurricanes suck!

I would rather be in one with my family than abroad worried about them.

Andddddd well I'm still here

I've had a year of adjusting and I'm ready to blog about any and everything.

EVERYTHING!

So now I live on an island (Again) and I do not regret it.

There are some cons but a beach day makes it all better. Having a beach for everyday of the year doesn't hurt either(even though I go to the same 5 all the time)

Working, living, preserving my peace and creating happiness.
