March subscription box goodness😍

Hiya! As usual it's been a minute. But I'm back with with some light! Trying out new products without breaking the bank. Subscription boxes! So if you have no clue what a subscription box is... it's everything. It's like the last day of finals. It's like collecting a goodie bag at an event that you didn't expect to get anything other than a good time out of. Pretty much a company has cute boxes/bags they fill monthly/weekly/seasonally with goodies that cost way more than the subscription and shipment cost.

I've been getting some heat lately from my male readers that I don't provide male friendly content. THEY MAKE SUBSCRIPTION BOXES FOR THINGS GUYS LIKE TOO

Something's you can find subscription boxes for: - Makeup - Workout gear - Pet accessories - Candy - Weed paraphernalia - Hair products - Skincare products

The list goes on and on, I'm sure.

For the individual who doesn't like buying a full size product or looking for the right products, subscription boxes are a Godsend. Personally I've tried out a few and have liked the experience. As a makeup enthusiast these boxes have helped me find products that work for me without breaking the bank. The only con I can think of is that you can't pick what you want to try out but that's often minor in comparison to the value. Currently I have 4 boxes and I've tried a total of 5. They are:

- Ipsy - Walmart Beauty Box - Boxycharm - CurlBox - Birchbox

The ones I still have are the first four mentioned. Ipsy is a monthly beauty box which consists of a selection of about 5 sample size products curated based on a survey you complete upon signing up for the service(they say) In addition to the products you'll get an adorable bag that you can use for a a bunch of reasons. Subscribers receive different bag combinations.

Below is my March bag and it's contents

$10.89 The only thing I don't like about ipsy is I often get products that wouldn't work for my skin tone or hair texture but I typically use most of the items I get.

The Walmart Beauty Box is a seasonal subscription box curated by the company consisting of samples of new products for the season/offered. You'll receive this box 4 times a year. When signing up the survey asks for gender so I'm not certain if products received differ if you choose male.

Below is my Spring Walmart Beauty Box

$5.95 (literally paying for just shipping)

BoxyCharm is a monthly subscription box that consists of 5 full size beauty products from great brands you've heard of and ones you never have. The box is guaranteed to value $100 or more. All subscribers get pretty much identical boxes with slight alterations like differing lipstick colors.

Peep March's goodness below

$21 (the box is actual worth $100 or more and if you're a makeup junkie and want to try new products without taking out a loan this is great.) Shouts to Tiffany C. For putting me on

Curlbox is also a monthly subscription box for hair (specifically natural hair) curls kinks and all that goodness. You get 5 full size hair products (usually from the same line) This is perfect if you're a naturalista, transitioning or just trying to find the perfect products to nourish your crown. All customers get the same products. They've expanded to include skin boxes, CurlBox Kids and a bunch of other options.

Check out March's box below.

$25

Pro- if you constantly wanna try new things. This is perfect. Con - you'll end up with major hair product hoarding problems if it takes too long to find your perfect product line. (I cancelled for this reason.)

If you didn't know about subscription box goodness. As usual the pictures are links to the products.

Go forth and flourish. You're welcome.

Guys as well go forth and flourish. There are boxes for you but I'm not a guy so no reviews.

Sorry 😐

Consider this the introductory post to monthly box reviews.

XOXO

My love is very special 💋
